Default Key Doesnt Work In Either Door

My 94 T/A is fighting me tooth and nail. Today I went outside to discover my door key no longer opens either door. I have long suspected I needed to replace everything in my doors(window motors, strikers, locking mechanism, etc) but I dont know what all parts I need for the locking mechanism.

If anyone has a pseudo parts list or could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful.

Is the key just really wore out and maybe just needs a new one cut?

What he said.
I would take your registration to the dealer and have them cut a brand new key and see if that helps. Don't just get a copy of your worn out key.

The good thing about lt1s is they are so ugly you can leave them unlocked and nobody will steal them.

Or even if they wanted to be stolen, 90% chance it wouldn't start and if it did start, 100% chance of opti related break down soon thereafter.

See, you had to give your LT1 plastic surgery to look like an LS1 so theifs would even look at it.
