Temp Guage?

Does the temp reading on my temp gauge look normal after a 17 mile round trip with 92 degree weather? Pic is below.

Ya that's about normal with the stock thermostat and fan settings..

I forgot to mention that I have it tuned for them to come on at 195 and 205 and I do have a stock thermostat. Is that still considered acceptable?

Seems normal for stock t-stat. Is that driving on the freeway or stop/go? Is your coolant sensor working or is the light on the dash a false alarm?

This was driving on the highway mostly mixed with some stop and go. I checked the radiator before this trip and it was full so I'm guessing it might not work. This also was the first real drive since the motor has been rebuilt.

if the tune is to turn on fan temps lower...might want to install a 160 stat. From the gauge pic my "guess" is the needle is indicating something like 2xx temp...which would coincide with the 205 fan on temp

the "new" rebuild motor is "tight" (rings) and could run slightly hotter initially
