who still does a good mail order tune
im in need of a tune. im fine with a mail order tune. is pcm for less and solomon still good as well? any other new tuners on the market? (i wouldnt think being the lt1 is way obsolete) doesent hurt to ask. whats yalls opinions? not looking to get a cable and downloading a program and not interested in doing 24x conversion

im from thibodaux. does he tune the 93-97 lt1 cars? i have heard of him. my friend got his tune from him on his 01 trans am. thought he did LS styles. i have a 95 which is obd 1.5. hard to find people who tune older cars. especially lt1 cars. they arent the same animal as other motors.

during my research, there were several people who were not pleased with his tune. i understand not everyone can be pleased, but there were more then just a few who were not pleased. im not completely against going with him. just seeing what other options there are.

Well I personally hand delivered my PCM to him for a update and he did it without the car being there.. So in a sense I’m guessing he does..

Just got my lt1 supra done by Solomon 2-3weeks ago. I have ported heads and a cc306. I still need do some data logging and take advantage of his free fine tuning after the power tune. But the car runs fantastic and seems pretty close to where it should be as far as the tune goes.

Had two people tune my car over the years. Had Trifecta do my original bolt on tune and that was great. They quit doing lt1 tunes right after I got my cam and would not retune my car. Sent mine to pcm for less and the tune was not very good. This was years ago. I got a lt4 hotcam tune. Then a cc503 tune. Both were very meh. Mainly super lean while crusing with it in the 15-17:1 range. Wide open was spot on at 12:3. I think when I rebuild my engine if that ever happens as my car is leaking water on the inside from the rust around the windsheild and smells very modly inside. But I think I will haul mine up to tick performance when I do mine.
