Default 24X with upgrades, need injector sizing help.

I'm in the middle of doing a 24x conversion and cam swap on my 94 LT1/T56 Z28. It has a set of mismatched injectors currently, and I'm wanting to buy a new set while I have it apart. What size do I need with this cam: 218/224 .570/.565 111 LSA? I know it's not a huge cam, but since there is better tech out there for injectors since 94, I'd like to know how to size them, if I even need too. I've looked at a few calculators on the web, but I get anything from 27 to 30lb. The engine is pretty much stock except for the cam and headers.

At your power level stock 24lb injectors are fine. I've had 218/228 hot cam and didnt get close to 100% duty cycle. My other car has a 224/230 cc503 and I doubt I'll have any issues with stock injectors.

24lb will be fine. They can support upwards of 420 flywheel hp.

At what PSI are those injectors rated at 24lb?

The yellow Bosch injectors I have are from a Crown Vic. I bought them from South Bay fuel injectors, so the have the extensions on them to fit the TPI. I want to find the injector data because I'd like to use them if I can run them at the LT1 pressure, but if not, I found these Bosch III at Injector Connection if I have to buy another set. I've requested the data for these to look over....

I have a LS PCM run 24x L31 Vortec with a 215/224 @ .050 cam on a 110 lsa, 106 ICL that is .578/.578" lift with 1.7 rockers. The injectors I was running are LS6 28.8 lb/hr @ 58 psi. With out of the box Assault Racing 205cc heads, tri-y headers and a ported marine intake I was using nearly 85% duty cycle to feed it. Math points to ~430 crank HP. Lloyd Elliot just ported another set of the Assault heads and took them from 244/177cfm to 299/199 cfm. I am likely going to have to look for 32-36 lb/hr injectors. I may even go up to 42s so I can run E85 again. I like to use GM injectors myself but I also like to bypass any kind of adapters on the pressurized fuel side. You might get away with stock flow rate if you have stock heads but if you ever upgrade heads or run E85 you will be upgrading injectors.

I've had Bosch 37# injectors in my car for about 12 years now. I put them in when I was cam only. Your tuner can change the pulse width I believe. In theory those 37's were way more infector than I needed at The time but they're also still in use right now with the new heads and ported intake.
