Along with EGR, EGR solenoid, EVAP solenoid, HVAC, opti vacuum (if so equipped with vented opti) and PVC vacuum are all on the intake. Chose your poison.
Also, if you block off the EGR port where the EGR mounts you do not need to block off the exaust gas port on the passenger side of the intake. That port s plumbed into the EGR side and once you block that off you're good to go. Just FYI.

im guessing your talking about capping off the smaller/skinny nipple right above the PCV valve ? Ive already done that.. air pump was also deleted.

If you have a vented opti, it's much better to keep air flowing through it.

What was the reason for changing from the U-shaped PCV hose to the long metal pipe seen in the picture? I didn't know they made that change and I'm still using the U-shaped hose since mine's originally a 94.

The 95's and earlier did not have a vented opti, so those intakes received vacuum from the port that the '96/97 uses for the opti, and the port below the TB was plugged.

Yeah I keep forgetting 95's also came with vented opti even though they were still OBDI, and I think with an OBDII data port or some mess like that....

I found the little hole in the exhaust manifold to be the right size to crank a 1/4" NPT tap into and shoved a plug in, then welded it.

Yeah the exhaust side of that pipe definitely needs to be plugged, but on the intake, it only the EGR side needs a block off plate.
