OptiSpark vac valves part#?
Well it looks like the vaccum harness for the lt1 is no longer in production. With that being said does anyone know the part number for the flow restrictor and the check valve for the vaccum lines? Or perhaps a comparable part? The OEM is currently (2019) floating around 80-120 dollers U.S.
If I can I'd much rather buy some vaccum hose, the valves and make the part myself for alot cheaper. So if anyone has the part number by chance, or could take a peek under the hood?
Thanks again for continued support.

I was just thinking about this the other day. It's my understanding that the whole assembly consists of rubber line, a check valve and one plastic fitting with a hole sized to allow a particular amount of air to pass. It shouldn't cost that much to replace. I had planned to try piecing something together myself when I pull the drive train out of my 97 pretty soon. Please share if you find something!
Failing a good low buck work around, Petris has them listed on their website for $60. https://petrisenterprises.com/produc...vacuum-harness
Thanks!

Looking at this
Petris performance optispark ventilation harness
I immediately notice the check valve is an off white/black, possibly a dorman brand. Interestingly enough the flow restrictor orifice apears to be 2 air hose connectors screwed together. I might be able to replicate this. As for junkyards I've yet to hit up my local yard, but f-bodys are becoming a rare sight. On top of that I would like to use parts that aren't old/contaminated with dirt and debris.
I might have found an OEM GM vac valve with what looks like a part number of sorts. I'll keep this thread up to date as I find more information. I'd love to make a right up on how to build a vaccum harness from scratch. Not only to save money, but to give other lt1 owners another option to work on these cars with an increasingly shrinking parts catalog

Update! I found an OEM lt1 harness at a yard, and although it was incompleate and torn to shreads the smaller of the 2 valves ( the check valve) was still there. It is broken but I noticed there IS indeed a part number!
Here's the broken valve
VAC 460734 and inside the tiny triagle are the letters MPC. I'm not sure what MPC stands for or if means anything but after searching the part number it does apear to be a genuine GM part that I found here

And here

This looks really promising and if we could just find the other valve and its
Part number, all that remains is some vaccum hose and a few hose clamps

No luck, finding another harness yet. Obline pictures don't show the part in full view. Can someone who has a oem harness pop the hood and let us know if it has a part number?
