Default Lt1 to ls1 spindle/knuckle question

I posted this in the suspension/brake forum but didn’t get any response. I have a 93 firebird and want to install a set of 00 spindles I have. My question is for the abs . The sensor plugs are different from each other. May I use my current wheel bearings on the newer spindles or do I need to get new 00 bearings and rewire/splice in the new sensors?

The wheel bearing was the same from 93-02. I swapped 98+ spendals and front brakes on my 96. The ABS plugs from the 98 parts was the same as my 96. If your wheel bearings are old I would replace them anyway, since you have it pulled apart.

If the hub fits snug into the spindle then I don't see why not.

When I swapped I think I used the 98 abs wire but only cause it was still attached to the 98 spindle.

Must be a 93 thing. My brothers 95 and my 96 both plugged into the car side. I guess I was right that the hub side was different.

Will you look at your sensors please and tell me which one matches yours?

Mine matched you 98-02 spindle on the left. It plugged straight into my 96 car. Brothers 95 was the same way. I think his came off a 00? but he has sold the car a couple years ago. Our body side plug looks like your 93 end. So I guess in 94? they reversed the connector.

That's odd. I did my 93 and the connectors were the same on both spindles (like the one on the right in your photo).

Since the sensor is in the wheel bearing, just swap your 93 wheel bearing into the newer spindles.

Old thread, new question. When the "LS" spindle was swapped for the "LT" spindle did the toe need to be re-set?

I am about to swap spindles to do the CTS-V brake upgrade this weekend.

Thanks in advance.

One hundred percent you must at least have the alignment checked after replacing suspension parts.
