Does he still make them? I have a 383 and have heard really good things about his cams. What makes his so much better than a custom comp cam or anything else? I would like to hear from people with his cams. I have the cc306 now but want something a little bigger.

 

He doesnt make cams on an individual basis anymore. Cam design is perhaps the most critical part of making power. If your cam brings in more air then your intake can handle or tries to vent more air then your exhaust can handle, or is not bringing in or getting rid of enough air, your car will not make optimum power. Joe is very good at designing cams and can do it as good as anyone else in the business. I guess that's why everyone highly recommends his work.

I'm loving his cam and I doubt many others make as much power as me with such a small cam and an automatic. He's on here so I'll let him answer for sure, but as far as I know he doesn't do any non-in-house cams anymore for the general public.

I was one of the last couple of guys to get one of his cams on an individual order. He informed me he's only going to be doing in-house individual orders now.

And yes, his cams are the shizznit!
