So do I get the 2042’s? They are 1 7/16” x 1 7/16” or 1.438” x 1.438”. Lloyd ported my exhaust ports to the 1406’s which come out to 1.530” x 1.630” and obviously that is a hair bigger.

Get which ever one is a bit smaller than the port dimensions and then use a file to get them to size. There isn't a metal core to these - they are solid graphite - so they can be shaped very easily.

Problem solved. Hole in header where runner meets the flange.

I'll be damned. I should have suggested that as well on account I had a cracked primary that was welded up. Good deal on finding the issue. You can try out those metal gaskets now!

glad I found it. Wish the shop would have before charging me $244 and throwing my gaskets away
