Should that matter? IIRC, the PCM sends out 2 5vdc reference signals and looks for the resisted signal back for each sensor. So to check for 5vdc signal you should be able to check it against any good ground on the vehicle. At least that's how all the GM vehicles I've diagnosed do it.
Looking at the PCM schematic the TPS has it's own dedicated 5vdc signal. The AC Evaporator Temp Sensor (on the evaporator), the AC Pressure Switch, and MAP sensors share the other 5vdc signal from the PCM.

I am looking for the test write up that lists the correct outputs for the two connectors... the ign cntrl module and the extension to the opti. it's got a black background thought it was on lt1swap.... bought this wiring harness off ebay... pretty sure there is a broken wire.. try to salvage it.

Once I got that puppy I did a couple of little things figured out that b14 was dead for some reason tied it together with B15 hit my start button I have a test engine stand in my shop. Hit my start button and therefore you go it was running.
