FLP Headers
On another note, these headers come with the female v-band flange and I have ordered a whole set of v-band clamps and flanges to set up on the mid pipe. I will have to take it to an exhaust shop to get fabbed up. Hopefully they do not mess it up

The plan is to get them recoated next week on Monday hopefully. I already have everything ordered to do the job. EGR block off from Hawksmotorsports, new GM Genuine MLS exhaust gaskets and new ACDelco 3 platinum spark plugs. Just waiting on everything to arrive.
Unfortunately they do not clear the ABS lines so I will have to remove them and bend them out of the way. I already know that the passenger AC line is going to need to be removed and bent as well.
ABS lines and AC lines needed to be bent. Just used a big *** pry bar and all was well, that was the easy part. Obviously some wiring down below needed to be pulled out of the way no issues there. The problem came to the dipstick tube. I could not get it bent properly for the life of me and ended up breaking the original one. I went back and bought a brand new dipstick tube and installed it and even that was a pain. I had to pull the header off the car and install it that way, massive suckage. Other than that the car sounds great. I have a few more things to button up before I can get it out on the road though.

All things considered, my Kooks headers weren’t too bad of an install. It seems pretty much everything about working on the f-body’s is a pita, so I guess that’s saying something.
