Yea....but even when I flat tow my Suburban behind it, you can't backup period. Can't backup with the Kia on a towdolly either. So.....same same....Just longer.

My power steering is causing me much agony. The power steering pump whines no matter what I do. I've replaced the pump three times, I've chunked the Impala Pwr Str line and replaced it with all -6AN PTFE hose and fittings, replaced every o-ring more than once, Ive even replaced the power steering gearbox, bled the system several times lock to lock, replaced the reservoir as well (from the Astro Van I stole the intermediate shaft from)

I've gotten it to be 100% quiet for about 3 minutes after engine start up, and then again it starts whining. The fluid in the reservoir has a bunch of bubbles. I've eliminated all fluid leaks.

Any suggestions?

Is my 4th gen pump just not gonna work with re-circulating ball steering gearbox? I wish I could use my old 3rd gen pump but it wont fit in any capacity.

Ok, thanks for the advice people. Figured it out on my own. Tightened up some clamps from the reservoir to the pump and put a couple more oz of fluid and now problem is completely gone. Calling this a win.

LOL... All I had was that if there are still air bubbles it had to be getting in somewhere, but figured you already knew that?

Sometimes I like to take the long way to the solution lol. I drove around the neighborhood and let it idle for an hour today. Solid fix.

This is a racecar. I flush and bleed the brakes before every event. So……even after one event it sometimes starts to turn colors on me. Using RBF600
