Default Best Shorty Headers for LT1?

Switching out through the manifolds to clean up...gonna go with shorty headers the y pipe high flow cat then probably a magnaflow catback and i figure i might as well squeeze all i can out of this setup..and ideas would be helpfull, so with that in mind, what are some the best shorty headers for the lt1 out there? oh yeah and best high flow cats too.

....and yeah yeah yeah, i know Midlths and LTs are better but im not doing those, have to stay legal for cali. lol

- thanks again guys.

well im not looking to spend that much, but therein lies the dilema...they are shorty headers and they arent going to give you the gains that long tubes will for the price, so i guess in reality i cant bitch about price for shortys because if i get any gain from them ill be happy....so as long as im not spending like 1000$ on these things, price isnt that big of a deal? lol at least thats how i see it.

none, get longtubes.

but for shorties i wouldnt go with bbk because of fitment problems on my old car and some others i've worked on. you'll have issues with any header, but whatever you get have em coated, you won't regret it.

Does mac make 2 lt1 headers? I thought they only made the midlength ones.

Anyway 5432lt1,
If you wouldnt mind going to a single cat setup I have everything you would need. I have SLP 1 3/4 Shorties, SLP Ypipe with a high flow cat, and a borla cat back. If you're interested let me know.

I have the rksport headers and they are very high quality. The one's I have have 1 3/4" primary tubes instead of the smaller 1 5/8" primaries like most shorties. If you're looking to get big gains from shorty headers, then you might want to look out for a set of the rksports like mine.

Well i have a 93 LT1..theyll bolt right up correct?...for some reason i thought the 93's had a different style header, i dont know why..but anyway, i know it only came with one cat so thats the type of setup id be looking for..id be interested in the slp shortys, the y pipe and the high flow cat, but im going with a magnaflow catback...so if the headers bolt right up...give me a price for the headers/y pipe/ and cat..i saved you to my AIM list

..oh yeah are the headers coated?
