Talking New TY TECH LT4 is in!

The new piece is in . The car will be ready this week for some testing and will keep everyone posted. Motor is still the same with a little, little more compression and some other minor changes. Will definetly be at THUNDER.

Interesting. What kind of heads are those? Strange header bolt pattern.

Headers are Hedman 1 7/8"...they have adapters allowing the header bolts to be moved away from the header tubes so the tubes don't have to be crimped to clear the header bolts.

Stefan your cheating. Tell them you put the sb2.2 heads on so they will understand your headers.

I have a set of the headers on my 392 with LT1/LT4 AFRs. There is an adaptor plate you bolt to the head first with countersunk flat headed allen bolts. You port the plate to match your exhaust ports and then bolt the headers to the adapter plate. The adapter plate moves the location of the header bolts so they do not interfere with the header tube.

Guys those are LT-4 heads with HEDDMAN headers and adapter plates. I went to a bigger header and those are the only ones that were 1 7/8th with 3.5 inch collectors. They allow for more clearance when using head studs also but it seems that the plug clearance is tight and first glance. Also one collector is against the floor so I have to see whats up. See if this pic helps.

Taner, its looking a little tighter but I just might need a different tool selection than the ones I used on my Hookers. I will let you know when I get the car back how it is.

I run the same headers on my car all the plugs are great .............except I have to remove the driverside header to change #5 But they remove very easily.Still trying to come up with "special tool" for easy access.

You testing this weekend Stefan? gimme a call

At what point on a blower engine would you guys say these things become desirable? Stock cubes here with 15+ psi boost. Camshaft 236/243/114+4.
