Default Will 94 shorty headers work on a 93?

I would think they would but I noticed that they offer a different model for the 93's and the 94-95's. So, would 94's not fit or not work with emmisions/exhaust? Could they be made to work or fit? Why exactly wouldnt they work/fit?

I bought a set used off of a guy who had a 95 TA. The only thing is on the passenger side hookup for the AIR system is located on the front of the headers but on the car the hookup is towards the back of the engine compartment, so you have to either plug it off(which is what I did) or buy a 2 90 degree brass adapters and run a heater hose in between the adaptors.

(edit) Oops!!! Sorry, mine are midlength.

I don't know. I did not disable my EGR. You could disable it and see what happens. I think the worst it will do is coff and sputter under light acceleration like mine did when the EGR valve was fouled up. It was a major annoyance only , I drove the car like that for 9-10 months before I replaced the EGR valve.

Get a chip made and have the egr tuned out.

Car Craft did a test a few months back on an 01 SS. It dynoed 319 RWHP before LT header install and with the LT header install dynoed at 336 RWHP. 17 RWHP gain with an LS1. Now with an LT1 you could expect a little less gain from LTs than an LS1. More likely in the 10 RWHP range.

I agree the way to go is to get it tuned out, I have it tuned out on my car but I am selling my shorties and the guy who is buying them wanted to know. He doesnt have the money to get a chip. What if you just didnt hook the egr up to the header just put like a down pipe on it and let it go under the car?
