Default Is it worth 6.5k?

Hey guys, I'm looking at buying a 94 z28 that right now is my bro's car that he wants to get rid of. He told me he would take 6500 for it and I dont know if it is worth it.
Here is a run down of aftermarket/new parts and specs:
109k on engine/car
K & N intake
granatelli MAF
hooker headers/y-pipe with gutted cat and catback
new water pump (GM)
new optispark (GM)
New fuel pump
New EGR valve
8 mm wires
has new a4 with 10k miles on it
transgo shift kit
yank 2800 converter
front strut brace
tubular lca's with relocating bracket (BMR)
lowered 1.5-2 inches dont know brand name of springs
bilstein shocks
has some sweet cragars on it (17's I think) with kumho tires
cowl induction hood
has newer tail lights in the back
3.73 and auburn posi in rear, may also have hardened axles, i dont know
scanmaster installed inside above the stereo.
after market stereo, nice one dont remember brand
limo tinted windows
hypercrap programmer
car is painted a hugger orange and it was a very good color change, u cannot tell what color it was before and I cannot figure it out still. Car is immaculate inside and out except for a small hairline crack it is devoloping in the dash. It is said to have run a 13.3 last time at the track but I believe it is more capable than that. I put all of the new parts on (optispark, water pump, egr valve, fuel pump) (those only have 200 miles on them) and have given this car a good looking over to know all of this and I believe it is in very good shape. Never been wrecked or even had a door into the side of it. What do you guys think? I will get some pics up if it stops raining. also what kind of mileage would it get if I was to used it as a daily driver and ***** foot it around.
Thanks,
Mack

If you know its in good shape it sounds like a good deal to me. It has a lot of bolt ons and the hood/paint which all is a big plus. Then all u have to do is internal motor stuff to make this thing really run. I would say take it to the track and see what it will do cause 13.3 with those mods sounds a little sluggish to me.

My suggestion is never to buy a modded car... always look for stock over modded.

Hey guys thanks for the replies. I know what you mean enisguy and jayrod, it is always better to buy a stock car over a modded one so you can go where you want to with the car but there is not one thing that I dont like about that car execept maybe the granatelli MAF. That is easily solved though so it is not that big of deal. This thing is immaculate though and still has the new car smell. Is there any other opinions about this car? Going off what I have now I think I will go ahead and pick it up.
Thanks,
Mack

I would say since you know this person well and the car runs good it would be okay. It's one thing to buy a modded car that you have no idea about what it's been through. I would take advantage of all the mod money spent on it myself. That will put you ahead of the game.

If it was your brothers car, you know how it was mantained. If he did a good job of taking care of it then it sounds like a good deal.

Default pull the trigger

A lot of guys will tell you not to buy a modded car, but if you are going to do the same type of mods....it is money saved......what really matters is what did the guy do to the car.....if it is getting run on the track twice a week.....then you may run into some problems.

Sounds like a good deal to me....you could probably part out all the mods and still sell the car for $6,000.

If there were some internal engine modifications I might agree, but these are all bolt ons. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

You never know how much N20 was sprayed in there or how many 1/4 mile passes it saw.

On my M6 I saw 14.5-16 MPG on all city driving on my LT1. (was getting on it every so often ^_~. You should see about the same or a little less since of the auto.
