LT1 catback exhaust question 3in vs.4in

Unless you're running a high cube motor and need a lot of topend power, a 3in exhaust should be fine. The only real situations I can see a 4in exhaust being adequate in would be an autocross type event... the topend advantage that a 4in copuld provide would be advantagious in an autocross, or roda racing event, imo. then again, i'm drunk as **** typing this post, so i wouldn't take me totally seriously in this state pf mind.

Ah, thank you hawk07! Feel better knowing. I guess the shop that put the motor in did the .030 to a 355c.i. and supposedly did a 3 angle valve job on the heads. All i know is this car ran 13.1@108mph( not to shabby) on a 2.2-2.3 60ft so its got 12sec potential. Didnt see it run in person but saw a video of it
