Why do you guys modify your lt1s?
lol, you feel bad about high 13's but you should look on the bright side. up here in the clouds at a track with no hook(i spin through like 150 feet off the spray... at least
), you'd be beggin for high 13's in a stock LT1. hehetheres always somethin faster, for me, this is my car, and for now this is what im modding.

but of course we have better reason
if you're tired from being left behind i don't know what to tell ya...
it took a substantial amount of years after our cars for them to actually BE faster than ours.

LMFAO!!!
I did it for the same reason I just did the following on the Wifes 95 LT1
LPE cam
1.6 rockers
K-800 valve springs
Eibach Pro kit
New shocks and strutts
Poly front bushings
LS1 brake kit
Tunning
Freashen the rear end with Raytec spacer and T/A cover
This all tied in nicely with the other parts that fell on it off my car.. Like
SLP headers
Borla
Y2K Chrome Ten Spoke SS wheels
LCAs
and a Plethora of other mods
Just seemed like the thing to do...parts were doing nothing but collecting dust on the shelf!
Besides 12 second pass's only keep you up with Lidded LS1s now

So am I and your point?
I really had no intentions on going as far as I have with this car. It started off with a cold air kit, airfoil, programmer, headers...and so on, and so on. I'm sure most of you guys know what I'm talking about. Once you get into it, it really does start to snowball.

Thats kinda like saying to an 03-04 Cobra owner "Lets take off your supercharger and then see how fast you are!"
