depending on how many miles you have on your car its a good idea to replace the fuel pump with a bigger one. i have a walbro 255 on mine and i'll be using the CC306. i also have an adjustable regulator for more tuning freedom.

As long as your injectors are in good shape, I would not change them. 94+ are rated at 24 lb/hr which should be fine for your setup. Though if you wanted to uprade to 30 lb/hr it wouldn't hurt. I am running Accell 30 lb/hr injectors in my Vette. I have ported stock castings and just an LT4 Hot Cam.

255 intake pump and some svo 30lb injectors. You can keep the stock fuel pressure regualator.

my goal for the setup is over 400 hp.. im actually leaning towards a bigger cam now.. the valvetrain will be pretty aggressive and i will be porting the intake manifold and going with a 58 mm tb.. right now im looking into some 30 lb injectors... why does everyone use svo? any reason in particular? i just hear a lot about them. also what brand 255 fuel pump is the best?

also, how hard is the 255 pump install?

also one more thing! is it even worth putting an afpr on? i actually ordered one from www.lmperformance.com supposedly it was their slp fpr that converts mine into adjustable, but instead i got this afpr that doesnt appear to fit.. it came in an slp box with slp stickers and stuff but i dont think it fits... anyone know anything about the slp regulators? its got some green on it but other than that its polished with a screw in the top and vac inlet on side.

If you already have an AFPR then get 30lb injectors, otherwise if you plan on over 400rwhp(which I doubt will happen unless you have GOOD heads) then get 36's.

SVO injectors are cheap and actually flow a little more than 30 at our fuel pressure.

id install this fpr i have but i have no clue how to... tomorrow when i can go get it ill take a picture and see if any of you recognize it because i dont think it is supposed to go on an lt1

Not very many people have hit 400rwhp with stock casting heads and the cc306. Although, peak rwhp means jack squat IMO.

very true.. i gotta see how much this port job is going to cost me.. if its a lot im just gonna buy some afr's

now if i go with the 36lb injectors and afpr (assuming i can get mine to fit, otherwise im using stock regulator) i will need to get the car tuned correct? i know i will already have to get it tuned somewhat to accept the new cam and all, but what downsides will i have to using the 36 lb injectors with say 380 hp? id buy them bigger because im probably gonna throw some nitrous at it if i cant get to 4 somethin all motor

You'll be fine with 36's, you won't have any problems running them as long as you get the car tuned for them.

You could get one of Lloyd Elliot heads/cam packages, cheaper than AFR's and will get you 400+rwhp with a GOOD CURVE with the supporting mods of course.

www.eportworks.com is his website

See my sig for times with his heads/cam package. Never got a good pass with the 383, it should've gone 11.30's on 16" drag radials no problem though.
