Default So do you F-body guys like Spintech Mufflers

I was just curious as to whether or not you guys like the sound of spintech mufflers in particular pro-streets? I did a search and not many people said to much about them..

So let's hear it.

I know it flows real well its pretty loud and clean sounding also but i think it weighs alot and the muffler is a big box you can see from behind

I personally loved the sound of the 4" dual out one that I had with my old mufflex system. So much so that I have two of their 3" Pro-Shootout mufflers waiting to go in a true dual setup when the car's done.

I'm planning on getting the spintech catback, either the 3 inch they offer, or they 3.5 inch mufflex offers. I'm tired of my magnaflow and i heard a sound clip of the spintech and liked it, unfortunetly though, I'm dead broke, so I have to wait till I can save up some money.

Yes, please do throw up a sound clip. I don't hear them in true dual apps hardly at all except Mustangs.

X pipe? H pipe? No Crossover?

and Roadmaster.

I have them coupled to a set of try-ys, no meows, pypes x pipe, the 2.5" prostreets, and 2.5" Over the axle Dynomax pipes. I have one of my pathetic 1/4 Mile runs where you can hear it from afar, I'm just waiting to have my friend upload the 20 sec quick sound clip I made w/ the 1/4 throttle burnout..

i know a guy that ran them on a c4 corvette. he had true duals with no cats, dual 3" mufflers dumped in front of the back tires. everyone complimented him on the sound but he said the drone of it gave him a headache when he would drive it long distances.

I only have drone at 1500rpm. at 70mph my setup is quieter than my old 2.5" to glasspack setup..

I didn't think there was hardly any drone. It's ten times better than the Flowmasters, and it was much better than various setups (duals and single) I've had with bullets. I'd even argue that it's less drone than the stock corvette I've been in with dual 2.25" Magnaflows and an H-pipe. I was extremely happy with how the Spintech was inside of the vehicle.

MY buddy has the 4 inch single in single out and it sounds bad *** the best exhaust i have ever heard on and f-body Me personally i have alway hated the way Camaros and Trans Am's sounded over The 50 Mustang with dumped exhaust but this system puts the Mustang to shame.
