whats the smallest chamber you can mill to with stock heads?

Default whats the smallest chamber you can mill to with stock heads?

If I wanted to uprgrade to bigger valves, and Im race-only, might as well add some compression right? right now I have 54CC chambers, how much smaller can I get?

Have you actualy CC'd them? Have they been milled before? What is your Piston to deck?

Yes, I personally CCed the heads when I worked at the machine shop, 54CCs, they were milled about .040 I think, I have the pistons set .003 in the hole, and stock replacement forged pistons, also an .039 gasket, and .576 lift cam

those are stock size valve thought... i dont think ill have enough room to go larger. maybe... maybe someone else knows. This was a mistake that was made by my machinest. he didnt check them b4 he decked them and had to go .020 past where they were to clear damage. 52cc looks about close to where they can go.

damn for 2-3 less CCs it hardly looks worth it, I think ill just buy some AFRs and have them re-worked to get to the same compression ratio.

If you have gone .040 already I would not go a whole lot more Much more and you will be trimming the seats
