I was looking around on CamaroZ28.com and noticed this ad. Wtf is thing about. To me, it seems like complete crap. But, I was just wondering if any of you guys have heard of it or have it. If it does anything, it might be worth getting because it's so cheap...Click

Whenever you see a gimmick part like that crap, say to yourself, have I ever seen this or could I imagine it being on a Racecar? If it worked, every NHRA pro stocker and stock eliminator guy would have one, or they would be forbidden in the rules.

That's what I figured. Although, since they say that you definitely gain hp, couldn't someone buy it, put it on the dyno and sue them if there was not a gain? False advertisement. We shouldn't have to even read things like this. I would think they could get sued...

why do people port and decreen their mafs? because the maf is in the way.... everyone would asssume remove the maf but we all know thats i'm possible. so adding something else that does not force air into the T/b is in teh way.. .

It is VERY possible to remove the MAF and tune the pcm for speed density, but there are drawbacks to this on a daily driver, so it is not commonly done.
