I bet you are seeing about 475-500rwhp and 500+ rwtq on the dope. If this was my car, I would get an adj panhard rod, subframe connectors, torque arm, and possibly some HAL QA-1's for a decent launch. If you can get a good 60' 1.7 or better I would put money on you nailing an 11.50 or better depending on altititude. As a side note my friend's 97 vert with almost the same setup, except he had a stalled a4, went 11.53 full weight on a drag radial with 3.73's. As for weight reduction, check the drag racing section. Every 100lbs is worth approximately a tenth in the 1/4 mile.

On the 150 shot, as long as it hook and doesnt break the rear end I cant see why not, People have gone 11s on a 150 shot with a lot less mods.

if it dead hooks your rearend is on borrowed time. also the stg 2 clutch will go soon if you're spraying out of the hole. hate to be the bearer of bad news...just letting you know...

Forget it I ditched my 6 spd for a full race TH 350 A3 with a 3,800 stall and im lowering my gear ratio to 4.10 how many of you think this will get the job done.

you probably have a better shot at it now, plus it may be a little easier on that rear end.

i'd go 3:73 or with a taller tire. because the stock motor cannot live at the kind of rpms u should be seeing through the traps (6500-6700+) you need a numerically lower gear (3:73's) or a 28" tall tire to compensate.
