Default SLP 2OTL questions

I can get this system slightly used (around 3000 miles) for 250 + shipping. Does that sound like a decent deal? My car is completely stock right now as well. Will I notice anything performance wise after installing it? Also how will it sound with the stock manifolds and cat? Will it be noticeably louder? Thanks for the replies in advance everyone.

2 out the left. It came stock on the LT1 SS cars and SLP still makes the catback.

i have the 2onl on my stock 95 z and it sounds great. its a nice tone inside the car and sounds really good outside. and once you start modding the car it will sound even better. it flows fairly descent, a lot better than most would think. i bought mine from a buddy that was fairly used for around 200 so sounds like a good deal. the guy i bought it from had headers and a CC306 cam and it sounded great.

you can spend another 100 bucks and get loudmouth which sounds 100 million times better than 2otl, i have my old muffler with pipes commin off the muffler, ill sell it for 150.00 if your interested. email me if you are

also, its important to note that your car WILL sound ALOT louder if your replacing the stock exhaust, also, it can be compared to a flowmaster but its much deeper and MUCH MUCH throatier. It's got a true muscle car tone.

SLP 2otl is suprisingly one of the best flowing exhaust systems its also one of the best sounding..Thes epeople that say loudmouth is the best are people that love LOUD cars.. once you do headers and no cats and have some internals loudmouth is way loud and can get raspy.. If you search some of the forums you will see that alot of people say 2otl is one of the best sounding systems out there

That's just your opinion buddy...Louder doesn't always = sounding better

Sorry, but the Loudmouth sounds exactly like what it is...Straight pipes with no muffler...It's not bad on a stock or near stock car, but sounds like total A$$ with headers, no cats, & engine work. SLP 2OTL may be quieter, but it has a much, much better tone IMO (especially with headers, etc.). If I didn't already have a Flowmaster cat-back + cutout on my car, I'd be getting the 2OTL next.

Mike
