I am not a T/A expert or anything but are you sure its a T/A and not just a Firebird? Cause that sounds like you got a v6 on your hands. But thats just what it sounds like- like i said, im not a T/A expert.

It's normal, that's a kind of stripper option. The car came like that brand new from the factory with some **** tires too. I don't know the details though, we'll let one of the gurus come in and handle that part. You can get the governer removed with a programming.

It's normal. I have the exact same thing. (94 TA with low spoiler, 105 governer and 110 speedo). Now I've got to get rid of that ****.

Yes, you can swap in a 150mph gauge fairly easily. It's a direct swap, no rewiring or reprogramming required.

That's right. All you have to do is change the cluster. Any 94-96 cluster should work fine.

You would need some reprogramming/rewiring to do that since that would be reading the mileage from the pcm.

I actually like the lower spoiler, I think it makes the rear of the car look beefier.

Yeah I don't mind the spoiler. I really don't care either way.

105 governor sucks *** though.

I ran a C5 the other day, and I kept up with him pretty good until that.

My understanding is that LT1 cars that came without Z rated tires got the lower speedometer and governor. You will need to have the governor programmed out, whether you change out the speedo or not. If your car is a TA, then it has a V8 LT1. The low rise spoiler is the normal rear on most Formulas as well, so consider yourself lucky on that point. (Mine is a 95 Formula.)

bingo, you should also have 2.73 rear gears. but the car definitey came from the factory with non Z rated 235 wide crap tires.

edit- i have a 150 mph cluster out of a 94 Z28 if anyone is interested. pm for details.
