OK, i have a 94 trans am non-gt it has the low wing (v-6) and my speedo goes to 110. plus it's governed al 105!!!! (kinda pissed) o'well? is this all normal? i bought it because it has 105K and runs very strong. Plus i got one hell of a price for it. anyways, is the whole speedo goes to 110 normal and how about the 105 govern?

I am not a T/A expert or anything but are you sure its a T/A and not just a Firebird? Cause that sounds like you got a v6 on your hands. But thats just what it sounds like- like i said, im not a T/A expert.

It's normal, that's a kind of stripper option. The car came like that brand new from the factory with some **** tires too. I don't know the details though, we'll let one of the gurus come in and handle that part. You can get the governer removed with a programming.

My understanding is that LT1 cars that came without Z rated tires got the lower speedometer and governor. You will need to have the governor programmed out, whether you change out the speedo or not. If your car is a TA, then it has a V8 LT1. The low rise spoiler is the normal rear on most Formulas as well, so consider yourself lucky on that point. (Mine is a 95 Formula.)
