Default planning on modding...

since there is about a 100$ dif in price i am planning on getting LT heads for the extra 120 or so should i get the jet hot coated?? and im debating which exhuast system to get SLP loudmouth, magnaflow, or hooker catback?? what would you suggest on these and what are some other good things to do with my 93 t/a

I would highly suggest having the headers jet hot coated unless they're stainless steel.

I would just spend the extra, if it really is that much more, and get a set of kooks stainless steel headers. After a year or two, jet hots tend to get alot of surface rust around the collestors and all. Coating doesn't really seem to help that much.

yes but unless they're stainless steel coating the headers is worthwhile in any application. it helps keep underhood temps down.

No matter what coating you get it will eventually rust. Jet Hot isn't used for stopping rust, it's mainly used for transferring heat out of your primaries. It's supposed to keep your engine cooler like stated above. Stainless steel and Jet Hot coated are both nice.

from what I remember depending on what stainless steel is used coating is not even needed.
