Default A4 94 Z Vs M6 97 Z?

Well, I was just curious what you guys thought about this match up. How much faster is the M6 from a roll? Assumming both cars were stock, how much do you think the M6 would win by. I would think the 97 M6 would be faster, am I right? Anyone know what MPH M6 97 Z's trap stock?

depends what mph roll your going from if its going to be a dead spot in the auto then thats even worse for the auto. I trapped 101 with a stock 97 formula m6

The M6 also has a slight gearing advantage. Depending on what gears the A4 car has(either 2.73 or 3.23), the M6 has 3.42's.

My 94 A4 trapped at roughly 94 to 95 mph stock, I think. Roughly 14.2 or 14.3 ET. 3.23 rear gear

Assuming the 94 A4 had 3:23 gears. I would think the M6 would trap over 100mph right? The stock A4's should be around 96-98. Something like that...

How about racing them and finding out? I think then we should play the numbers. I raced an 99 M6 after my gear swap and was with him of the line and passed him at his third shift.

my 94 auto with 2.73's trapped 97-98. M6's trap over 100.

my 94 a4 3.23 trapped 100.5 with just a catback and freemods. She's got 4.10s now and should trap a bit more

I was just curious because I raced one from a roll and I have an A4 94 Z28. We went from 50 and I got him by a little over a car to 115mph. I was still pulling though. So, hopefully my car will trap over 100.

I have the video, I just need to upload it somewhere.

if you are going to build the car up i would go with the auto so you dont have to mess with a 12 bolt for a while. Just put a converter in and you will probably beat the 6 speed
