What is the highest milege any one LT1 any one has put heads on. And what was the result.

how many miles you have on yours? i have 120k and im doin h/c in the winter

JeffStar did his at like 90K back in the day, I'm doing mine at 67K

Im gettin a compression test and if im good mine will be at 137k. Wish me luck.

Hey how much does a compression test cost? And where are you getting it done?

You can buy the tester out of like summit, or you can take it to a shop and get it done for like $150-200. Thats what im doin.

If you have low miles now look into it soon! I wish i woulda 10k ago.

I have 95k but I don't put more then 5k on a year so I am not really worried about it.

I have 112K and put the cam in about 6K ago and now i want heads but dont want to blow it up.

I put my cam in at roughly 120k. Still kickin hard at 147k. Putting on heads wont put much more of a strain on the bottom end. If your car is in good running condition, you should be fine.
