Do you have coolant in your oil or oil in your coolant?

I do not think it a head gasket, Sound like you have cooling issues. Well i should say i dont think it was a head gasket problem that started that mess. After you let the car cool down, And try to restart it what does it do ? If your car is ideling real realy low the oil presure will aslo be very low.
You may have warped a head, I doubt it though. Depends on how long u drove the car when it over heated

if any of you guys run your car with the cap off do you get alot of steam going in the radiator from the steam tube where it blows the water out if the water is above the steam hose fitting

Next question, what type of heads are on the car, And has any work been done on them.

As of right now it sounds like you still have lots of air in your coolant system, When all the air is out, The only thing that will come out of the return line from the back of the heads will be water/coolant.

yeah i had the heads ported and polished and a sonic checker was used during porting i pulled the car back apart this weekend no blown gasket but oil in the water it looked like where the heads gasket blew before the cylinder might be cracked im sending the heads in to be pressure checked today and there was tons of metal in the motor so i have a whole other motor im gonna build all due to a electric waterpump i even called csr and asked them why they dont make left handed threads ot loctite the impeller to the shaft it just seems stupid to me that they would thread someting on that would spin off the way it rotates so guys beware!!the tech claimed that the shaft should have had loctite on it
