Hey guys, so i just orderd my x pipe kit from summit now i need mufflers, but i dont know witch ones to get? I got pulled over yesterday for my cutout, because it was too loud, lol. Ne way I want it loud with a little less interior resononce and i want a clean sound. I love the way my cutout sounds its AWSOME. Thanks for the input guys!

I been seeing everyone rave about the sweet-thunders.
I currently have the LM setup, and will be buying a sweet thunder to replace the LM resonantor with.... LS1Sounds doesnt have any sound clips of this setup.... Im surprised... unless I looked wrong.

Everyone claims the bullets flow the "best", the sweet thunders sound the "best", and I havent heard anything about the XR-1's. There is actully a thread floating around between the bullets and thunders. Search for it.

Good luck
Andy

I used to have sweet thunders with my duals, it got annoying being so loud after a while, mostly since it sounded like I was flooring it everytime I gave it gas. I sold those and switched over to Flowtech Raptors, and I love it. It has a deeper sound at idle, and isn't too loud at all at WOT. I don't think I lost any power either. In fact, after I made the switch, I can get the tires to scratch a little bit going into second now (A3 with 4000 stall), even with drag radials. So I either lost traction overnight, or gained a little bit of power with the muffler switch

The kit works out well, It has to be trimmed to fit correctly but the guy that cut the pieces and welded it for me says that was the first universal kit that he saw go together so well.

Im running the bullets and it's quieter then my LM setup at idle but once you get on it there about the same. Tone is alot deeper as well.
