Just look at it realistically budget wise, if you can afford a badass turbo setup then there is no reason not to do it, but if the funds are going to be hard to get for it I'd go with a solid 355 street/strip motor with maybe a touch of juice to keep thing interesting

The difference in your two projects $$ wise is about $4000.

I agree that it all depends on the dollars. But personally I would build a nice 355 than worry about FI once you get out of college, then you always have the motor around fully built.

i'd go with the built 355, but hey im from houston and a lot of friends of mine went to uti and wished they hadn't. If it is what you want to do awesome! but make sure you really want to, i know a guy from arkansas that moved here to go to uti and now he is wishing he didnt, although he doesnt know what else he would have done. just a little .02

A nasty heads cam setup with a 150 shot of juice would own that turbo all day and not be living on borrowed time. The turbo would cost an *** load to buy (or build..ie fabricate) a kit, need many more parts to run efficiently (low cr pistons, heads with huge cfm flow numbers, cam with turbo specs, intercooler, tune etc. So basically, a heads cam kit + turbo. Think about it.

UTI is an overglorified highschool. If building engines is your like go to SAM in houston.
