Wow, that's super. I don't see the 11.89 holding up for long. I may have a street twin and ultra balanced flywheel coming in mid December. It's coming with the 383 car I'm getting. I may decide not to use it so I'll let you know.

These bolt on times are impressive, hell I aint much faster with more motor, cam & heads. Of course my race weight is probably in the 3500 + area and my car needs alot more tweaking.

Dyno tuning can make a huge difference. I picked up about 2 or 3 tenths and the car runs much better. Be prepared to spend several hundreds on a good tune though.

Slicks/Radials. If I had em I'd be in the 12's easily.

I could right a book on the subject since I've pretty much done it all at this point but let me try to keep it short and sweet:

1. CAI 2-3 tenths
2. Tires & light wheels
3. Headers & cat back 4-5 tenths
4. Optimum torque converter 4-5 tenths
5. Gears (I gained 3 tenths going from 323's to 373's in my A4)
6. Weight reduction -500#=5+ tenths, mostly free but comfort is lost.
7. Accessories delete & EWP=2-3 tenths
8. LT1 edit or equiv. 3+ tenths
9. Good A4 tranny build 2-3 tenths
10. 160 tstat 2-3 tenths (PCM mod required)
11. rockers/springs Kinda pricey and troublesome for just a couple tenths.

On the flip side. Waste of money mods:

1. MAF $300+ for granatelli, .02 sec. gain
2. Throttle body, no real gains except throttle response
3. Descreen maf
4. turbinator
5. MAF translator
6. etc.

Ooops, I forgot. For the M6 cars don't forget the "Russ" mod. Good for at least 2-3 tenths.

Best mods for my car:
Russ, B&M Ripper Shifter, weight removal, and good air. And then the suspension to hook up the raw power!

All this other stuff is for show...

I'm running a PTS Xtreme 9X11 rated at 3K stall. I like it alot. It's very unique with a 9" bowl and 11" lockup disk. It's very effecient, lighter than stock, and hits like a ton of bricks. But it doesn't stall high enough with the 410 gears I just put in. I could probably pick up a couple tenths with a higher stall since peak torque is about 4100 RPM.

My intake is stock and not ported.

I'm running a Crane HI-6TR.

Stock pulley's running just the alternator.

CSI water pump

Believe it or not I'm still running the AS&M mid length headers. I know one person that likes the kooks headers alot.
