Default 355" LT1 goes 9's!

Well first off I want to say thanks to Lloyd Elliott for doing an awesome job on porting my new Trickflow heads. This is the same old combo that has been in my car for 2yrs. It has an old CC306, 4k Vigilante converter, stock torquearm, swaybar and shocks out back with 3.55 gears and on 26x11.5" ET streets. I made a couple motor passes and the tune was way rich and the car only ran 11.30@119mph. I turned the n2o (150HP) on and it ran.
60' 1.50 spinning.
1/8th 6.38
1/4 9.83@136mph!

I didn't get to make anymore passes since the car doesn't have a rollbar or any other safety equipment . Now I need to get the car on the dyno to do some tuning to get the car in the 10's on motor. Later

Awesome Clint, the car is running great, its just nice to see some people still know what a well set up car can be capable of.

They didn't show any 1/8th mile mph at the track yesterday but it normally ran 106mph when it ran 10.17@134mph so I would say a little better than that John.

Clint great job. I know you've been working hard on the car. Which track were you at? What was your short time on motor? Frank95z

Thanks, Frank the car ran 1.54 60' on motor 7.25 in the 1/8th. I found out the tune in the car was tuned for 30#'s and I put some 36#'s in it and it wouldn't run for crap on motor. I heated the bottle up quite a bit and put a little smaller fuel jet on the n2o. It worked b/c the car ran awesome. I am going to get it right and run on motor before I spray it again. I am also installing a 5 point bar but the car still won't be legal to run 9's but I am keeping it streetable so I am not going full rollcage. Later Clint

Clint, really nice times!!

I'm actually going with the TF's ported by Lloyd and an LE2 cam and can't wait to see how it will perform but will take a while to get it all put together.

Do the Trickflows not allow us to run OVC wiring? I could've sworn I seen that posted by someone recently?
Are the 30# injectors adequate for what you have?
