Default Mod Update

Hey guys...I've been pretty busy workin on the car over this winter, Heres some pics of what I've been doing. I've installed a Wings West SS spoiler, RK Sport SS hood, removed the side moldings, and installed LT headers + ORY pipe. Thats what I have done so far, in the next few weeks I'll be prepping the car for paint (sanding/blocking/priming), along with fixing the damaged parts of the hood. I think I'm going to have the "ZL1" single stripe painted on in black, along with the flat black "Berger" tail panel, Z28 emblems from a 74' camaro, and stainless steel camaro inserts for the back. What do you guys think? I'm happy with the plans for the car, all I'm gonna need to do now is save up some $$ for wheels/tires. I got the hood for $150 on e-bay since it was damaged, but thats not going to be much of a problem since my dad used to do body work for a living. Anyways, I'm looking foreward to the car being finished (as far as appearence mods), let me know what you guys think, and as always suggestions would be great.

Any suggestions on where to put the cut-out? I'm havin a really hard time finding a spot for it. I was going to put it in place on the cat, but it wont fit well there/would hang to close to the ground.

thanks,

Bill

The cutout fits in the indent for the back seat perfectly that's where mine is. How much clearance is there between the cat and driveshaft? I went with dual cats on mine.

Your plans sound great, the car will look amazing. I think that if you got black with chrome lip ZR1's 9.5 for the front and either 9.5 or 11 inches wide for the back would set that car off esp. with that black ZL1 stripe and black berger panel.

My thoughts exactly, I want to get either the wheels you suggested or black 17/9.5 (front) & 17/11 (rear) black ZO6 motorsports with a chrome lip. Either way, I'm not going to be able to afford wheels for at least another 6 months. Damn highschool budget

What made you go with only 1 cat instead of 2?
