The knock module is in the PCM (on all years). The sensor(s) is in the block. 96-97 (OBDII) has two knock sensors in the block and 93-95 has one sensor in the block. Yes, you can get the LT4 knock module for a 95. I don't have the part number handy but you can find it at gmpartsdirect.com.

You can take care of any false knock problems when you tune the PCM.
