Default Which Pulley??

Someone posted this question in another forum:
*
confused which underdrive pulley is the best? I hear piggyback's aren't worth it but ASP sells a 34% Underdrive which sounds like it should make a difference over a 25% like March.

Are all underdrive pulleys "piggybacks"

By piggyback they mean you retain the stock pulley NOT replace it right?

Are all the underdrive pulleys the same design?

the 23% on ASP's site says it is good for .2 in the quarter over the .1 to .15 for the 34% so I am confused I would think that the 34% would be better than the 23%. I just want the best pulley and dont care about charging.

http://www.aspracing.com*

I am curious about this as well. anyone know?

I have a 34% installed. The Factory Crank Pulley bolts over the Underdrive Pulley. You still need that balancer. Some companies make them so they are heavy enough to be a balancer, but they are more expensive. With an Underdrive Pulley, get a shorter Serpentine belt, a 60" belt is what I needed. Factory is 64".

quick question do you know how to get it of or anybody? i have that setup and NEED to remove it and im having a problem. The harmonic balancer on another Lt1 just kinda fell off we used a puller but not much force(4 or 5)rotations) and it seems that this one isnt even budging at 4 turns????????
