That's definitely a TPI intake. It's advertised as a TPI intake. Stick with what's advertised for our cars unless you're going with a Victor intake. That particular intake was engineered for the TPI due to little to no top end from the factory. However, our LTx cars were much better than the TPI from the factory.
I wish people would know what they are talking about before answering stuff like this. this is a TPI intake, but they also make them for LT1's (not sure if they are still made) but i know they DID because i have one on my LT1. Every one see's a TPI intake and remembers what was in a 3rd gen and says why do i want that POS? Yes its not a high reving intake but on the other hand, I use this intake because of the NICE low end torque numbers. Its all about what you want to do with it. longer runner = more torque shorter runner = more hp.. What do u need more? What camshaft are u planning on using?
The LT4 intake IS NOT an upgrade. The plenum and ports are VERY similar to some of the LT1 intakes. The LT4 intake has extra material on top of the runners to allow port matching to the taller ports on the LT4 heads BUT DOES NOT MATCH well from the factory. That extra material stops it from bolting too unmodified LT1 heads and if you remove the material that interfers from the LT4 intake you just made it an LT1 intake by removing any POTENTIAL avdantage it HAD. Again the LT4 intake ports are basically the same as the LT1 there is just more room to port it to allow it to match LT4 parts and to seal against their taller ports. IT IS NOT AN UPGRADE.
Even a 30 second search would reveal this.
That ignores the fact they are out of production and stock has run out because people so often ASSume that it an upgrade and too many of them got hacked to fit LT1 heads. They now easily go for $500+ on ebay.

I bellieve a little more research needs to be done.
OOOO, wait here's a good article
In a Brief statement expect to see 383 style TQ through out the RPM rang 40-60RWTQ and about 25-35 Hp throughout the RPM range.
The long runner intake usually runs out of breath around 6000 RPM, but who knows, throw some nice heads on there with a nice size cam and it may see 6500 even with the Longer runners
.

Aslo for a lot more information go to camaroZ28.com and search under my name T/A KID and search for Superram intake.

The "Track Results" at the end of this article pretty much tell the tale:
