you might think about the IAC, coil, ICM, fuel pump, filter, or FPR w/o any real specifics or a vid or some sounds or something its hard to truly diagnose it.

What plugs and wires did you buy? The only thing I can think of is either the wires are defective (which happens) and one or more is arcing, that would explain the hesitation, or the new plugs are getting fouled to easily, I have seen that happen alot with the Bosch plugs in the LT1s. The firing tip is so small and the combustion chamber pressure is so high those little german guys cant take it.

Could be a bad spark plug gap too? How much anti seeze did you put on them. I ask because I put too much on a couple of plugs once and it ran like crap until I cleaned them off.

Take it somewhere and have them evaluate the issue. There are good shops in Houston that still mess with LT1's

Anti Seeze, you know it is grey lubricant to keep the plugs from seezing up so you can wrench them out with ease the next time you replace them. Did some parts store guy tell you that the plugs where pre-gapped too

Did you check the gap ? you should have just bought NGK's and gapped them yourself.

It sounds like you have 2 plug wires on the wrong positions. Did you follow the old trick - "Replace 1 wire at a time from end to end"? It's easy to get 2 mixed up and the car will run but crappy. I've done it twice, and seen it a hundred times.

Man I learned to gap, check, gap, check, tiny bit of anti sieze then install...I don't want to talk about doing the plugs in wires in the 96 I had...must not sleep must not sleep, the plugs will get me...

May have burnt up a wire, I have done that, I routed it wrong. So you say it ran fine right after the opti change?
