Default Bleeding The coolent System?

Well i just got done putting my buddys 93' LT1 back together, (bad opti) and were getting to the point were we need to bleed the Anti-Freeze lines. Is there a how to?

I know there are 3 bleeder points. But im not sure what the order is or how long to leave em open for.

Here is what I understand so far, Fill with water and bleed.

Help guys,
Tony.

I only know of two but basically i open them let the bubbles come out then close and repeat till no air is noticed and the fluid level in the radiator is right. also turn the heat on when you are bleeding the heater core line.

I know there is 1 on top, near the radiator. It is the little brass screw on the piece of pipe that is in the top line. I leave it open with the car running until there is a steady stream of coolant coming out.

There are two bleeder screws... fill the radiator with 25% antifreeze and 75% water... start the engine with the radiator cap still off... let the car heat up until your thermostat opens and the fluid level drops in the radiator... open both bleeder screws until fluid begins to stream out and then close them... top off the radiator with water and put the radiator cap back on

why 75/25? GM recommends 50/50.

Use the Prestone pre-mixed stuff. The mix is just right and they use distilled water. Poor tap water is what usually screws up cooling systems. And yes, I think the mix should be 50/50.

while the best mix is really 60/40 ( did a test in engine class ) they say 50/50 so that it is easy to mix and poeple who arent as mechanically inclined can do it, like stated above there are 2 bleeders one on the coolant line goin to the water pump and one on the thermostat housing neck
