Changing to LS1 Intake

What all is involved in changing to an LS1 intake has anyone done this? dont worry about the hood clearance what parts do i need?

i dont think its possible... non of the intake ports will match... i guess i could be mistaken but im dont think so.... where did you hear of this from???

ok, i got ya, it just hit me. you want the air intake... ok at first i thought you ment the intake manifold... my bad.... you need of coarse the top and bottem boxes. mounting screws ( you will have to drill the holes for the screws) and a filter and some rubber tubing to make fit... i think i have a pic... i will see if i can find it...there was a post not too long ago on this...

Yea, I was thinking the same thing... Intake Manifold. It shouldn't be that hard, you would think all the bold hols are similar. Isn't the Corvette ones very similar also..

what do i do with our MAF sensor ( i think thats what it is) at the end of our rubber / plastic elbow?

i cant find the thread. what im trying to do is make a custom CAI intake but i need the LS1 style intake spot so your telling me all i have to do is move that MAF?
