That is the thing....Some guy was talking about his Lt1 and he's running 400hp with H/C and it sounded like a Stock Lt1 but hwe said he has a Silent cam and its a Big cam...so im seeing if anybody heard about it or knows who sells it...

A BS stealth cam for a LT1 that makes sick power? I dunno. I'd have to see all the mods. My car doesnt sound cammed when i raise the idle.

well...................

the kicker is 400 hp (assuming he means real wheel)
Good power can be made and still sound stock. Keep the cats, a muffler, and a tight LSA (tight, correct? numerically higher) plus add all the bolt ons that don't change the sound of the idle, you can make big power.

Making big power maybe. But i wouldnt want to restrict my exhaust to make it sound stock.

there is a difference in cam lope and exhaust decibles. The true sleeper has neither and still puts down power

probably in the 340 range


but it would lope its *** off.

hell i know someone with the 304 cam and its lopes
its a 210/220 .500/.510 114

There's a cam called the "cadillac" cam and has a near stock idle...Makes ~360 to the wheels cam only...Very street friendly and very little cam surge and, of course, stock sound for the unsuspecting.

with stock heads. probably only a few more hp then it would be with the stock ci

it would make a little more torque, but not worth the 2k
