Default BF Goodwrench what?

I'm looking for a new set of drag radials. (mine are getting pretty worn) Currently, I have 275/40/17 nitto 555r DR's.

I want to switch to BFG's. I've heard good things about these tires. My question is, which BFG should I get. What is the name for the BFG drag tire?

These tires are going to be an everyday driver. I plan on going to the track a few times to see what I can run though...

if they are going to be used every day...stay with the Nitto's...you will only see 5-7k miles out of a set of BFG's

P.S. its GM Goodwrench and BF Goodrich

That's just what most people say. BFGs hook better but last less and nitto's last longer but dont stick as well.

Dude just go with some Mickey Thompson Sportsman, they make them in the size that will fit the 17x9.5 now, those are the best Drag Radials you will ever have.

other than that I have BFG Gforce KDW on my TA I love them for the price they dont stick too hard though, but I useto have BFG Comp TAs and man I loved those, wish they still made them

The nittos aren't too bad. They hook pretty good if aired down to around 20 psi. I had a set on my old Lightning and they spun very little if at all at the track when aired down.

Hey 97blkz,

If BFGDR's suck, what would recommend for 315/35/17 that's better? -Not trying to be a wise *** here, mine are worn down and if there's something better out there for traction.......
