Default Help me out: Full Boltons

I got a nice running 1996 Z28 with 88,000 on the dial, just has the basic breathing bolton's (K&N intake and catback, which is unfortunately, flowmasters). I'm looking to replace the how exhaust system with Coated LTs, ORY, high-flow cat, and GMMG exhaust. What are the other boltons I should look into to keep my car good for a daily driver? I'm looking to do full boltons here

Hooker lt's or kooks, GMMG is a good choice for exhaust. Electric water pump, Underdrive pulleys, 1le elbow, Holley or ASAM 58mm TB, Msd or Crane ignition, TR55 plugs, U can do 1.6RR's if u like. And of course a good Dyno Tune!

I wouldnt get a bigger throttle body. They are not neccessary on a bolt on car. Wait until you do more mods inside the motor. For a bolt on car aftermarket ingnition is a waste of money imho. Stock ign will fire just fine. For the street a 2800 stall is a good choice and 3.73's are a good match for an A4. For suspension umi performance has a good LCA/Panhard bar kit for 170.00. I have it and it made a huge difference. A good set of drag radials wouldnt hurt. Nittos are good and so are Mickeys. I dont know about bf goodrich dr's. You could get a shift kit but it will put a lot more stress on your tranny. Some people love them and some wish they would have never gotten them. Its more of an opinion thing.

Also a poly tranny mount. Yours will bust someday anyway and it gives the car a stiffer feel when shifting.

a shift kit will only extend the life of your transmission. it doesnt allow the clutches to slip. a tranny cooler would be a good feature also! 3:73's are a good gear, but tend to tach high during highway driving. if you do alot of highway driving 3:42's would be a great gear. (i dont do alot of highway driving, so that why i chose 3:73's) UMI makes alot of good suspension parts, along with bmr, spohn, slp, etc... lower control arms, and subframe connectors make a big diff. I agree with UA-Plumber that a bigger throttle body wont help until ur making some whicked number and ur motor requires more air. As for the exhuast the question your going to have to ask yourself is will you be able to stand your car being loud 24/7 being your DD and all and your choice of exhuast is a GMMG. Hooker, Kooks, and Pacesetter all are good headers, Kooks being the best but expect to pay a pretty penny for them.

I put down 10 wheel with ignition. And I would do a 3000 to 3500 rpm stall. 3:73's are great. A good torque arm like BMR, lower control arms, subframe's,trans cooler, shift kit.
A TB is not a waste because it does help and u will need one in the future for a cam, heads and what ever else u want to do.

Just curious ... whats ORY? I'm new to Fbodys and these forums so I don't know what that stands for.

First a 58mm TB is worthless unless you port the intake. 2nd 58mm is BIG, you're going to need a pretty big cam and bad *** headers to use up 58mm of TB. 52mm is all you need if you just plan on a street cam and heads. I'm using 51mm (custom ported stock tb) on my current setup.
