Default Who makes at least 450 rwhp on motor with pump gas?

My first LT1 stroker with AFR heads and a comp 503 cam made 370/370 to the tire with pump gas. My new LT1 stroker is almost completed with top of the line parts and professional expertise, yet I would be surprised it made over 430 with pump gas. I have an automatic trans.

I put down 476 rwhp on pump gas. That was also before some final tweaking. I would guess its around 490 or better now with my last et/trap speed compaired to when it dynoed 476

lots of guys do 450+ look around, it isn't hard. Just find the right combo and it'll run fine.

I think lloyd elliots LE3 is good for 430 in a 5.7L application, but you can go with aftermarket heads and a bigger cam and easily make more.

I was at 472rwhp before switching to shaft mount rockers and single plane intake. I'm hoping to have new dyno numbers by the end of the week this week. N/A 383, solid roller cam, 6spd

With aftermarket castings, 450 is very attainable.
On ported stockers, I think 450 is pushing it.

Yes, the heads are AFR 210 "race readies" that have been ported for further performance. I don't know the flow of them yet, I just hope they are as good or better than the competition porting offered by AFR. Don't know the cam specs yet.

Working on it. We have one already there. Getting ready to do some cam swap and other changes to get it to 475

that number is pretty common on a stroker if you have the right combo. being an automatic with a stall, it will dyno lower then you might like ... but hey who does racing on a dyno? automatics hate them ... take it to the track, and put up a good e/t, then post your lower hp number and make people who are making 60-70 more hp wonder how the hell you did it ;]

I agree...dynoes don't win races. Take it to the track and see what she will run to guage if your setup is working or not. You could have your heads cleaned up and worked by a good head guy and you would pick up power. Those 210s can support some good power if done right.

I didn't pick the combo. In fact I suggested running bigger parts i.e. heads and cam and was told it would be too radical for the street! My next motor has the bigger items. I hope it makes more than 370.
