I read that 3 times and still didnt quite understand what youre asking. If the question is can you swap a LT1 into a 81 Vette the answer is yes. Wont be easy at all though. So many little odds and ends will come up. Factor in the cost before doing it. May be cheaper to bigger and better things.

This is mostly a guess but i think he wants to know if the fuel injection off the lt1 will fit onto a 93 crate motor thats in his vette... maybe?

The big question (in my mind) is 93 crate motor what?

I have a 93 Crate Motor in my 79 Z28. Designed for a 93 Caprice. It's your garden variety iron block iron heads 1-piece rear main seal Chevy 350. No, an LT1 system will not work on that without some work (like a hole for the distributor to start with, and then something will need to be done about the thermostat since there's no provision on the LT1 intake).

If it's a 93 LT1 crate motor, there wouldn't be a problem.

okay yes ..sorry i wasn't clear ,its the intake i was talking about,(i am ready for the editing goonies to give me a hard time!!! ha ha)sooo......the distributor mounting won't work niether will the thermostat..kk, ill check it out for myself too.
The crate motor is some high perfomance crate with smaller pullies, plenty of extra power for the time era, but i guess i have my question answered.....basically ...NO,it wont work, I was talking to my brother about salviging some of the parts off it for his vette, he bought from ...mom.....Sweet vette...just sat up for too long.....hes driven my FORMY, and well...little brothers FORMY is slyghtly faster than the 81 vette ,even with the crate engine, back in its day the vette seemed pretty fast , however technology has out done by 20 years that ****...I'd rather have my Formula any day!!!
