Default Best Nitrous Pistons

Hey guys did a search and came up with nothing. I was wondering about pistons since I'm building a 355. So far I have eagle 6" H beam rods and a GM forged crank for my LT1. Since this will be a nitous motor I was wondering what pistons to go for. I was thinking of Probe's SRS pistons since they handle a 350 shot of juice. So what do you guy's think??

I heard alot of people say if going to use alot of nitrous that the 2618 alluminum alloy forged piston would be the best choice because if it's strength.

Call JE and get a custom slug done..... My flattop custom JE nitrous pistons have a 300 top ring land, gas ported with reduction grooves..... Can handle a 500 shot..... They're based on a pro mod design only made for a 4.030 bore and 6" rod....

It really depends how much sauce you plan on runnin and then have JE build you a set to your builders specs...

Yep,
JE can make a custom piston for you to handle pretty much anything. I just found some JE's off the shelf that will handle 650hp. Beyond that I am pretty sure is all custom. From what I hear JE also has outstanding customer service.

I plan on going 500 shot (more then one stage) or big turbo, more then likley 500 shot, JE for me.

Just remember that no matter how good a piston is, it will not matter if you use crapy rings!

I heard someone mention that the SRP's were just as good as JE's higher $ piston cuz they were a little heavier and have more meat on them. I obviously can't back that up scientifically but you know what I am saying.
