I can't help much on sizing for an f-body but I went from ET Drags to Quick Time Pros and LOVE the QTPs a wider tire fits on a narrower rim PROPERLY and they drive a whole lot better on the bigend. I have little suspension work a preloaded rear swaybar and Airlifts with offset pressure and this heavy pig does 1.7s leaving from idle.
I am using 27x11.50s on a 15x8 rim the ET drags were 28x10.50 and sidewall to sidewall they were as wide as the 11.50 QTP.

yeah dwayne those ET drags you and spartus picked up were weird. They were almost way to wide. He picked up a shorter set of ET streets wit the same width measurment and they're a whole lot narrower..
Im running 26x10.5x15 ET Drags Now Havent been to the strip yet wit them :0

With a 10-bolt and any decent power I'd stick with radials. Unless of course you had full rear suspension, which would be another story. That sticky of a tire would bust a 10-bolt wide open after a few hard passes.

had great luck w/ nitto drags (245/60/16) dipping into 1.6 sixty times (bolt ons only)
had 26x10.5x16 et street on salad shooters as well
I don't think your hp level is to the point of eating a 10bolt so easily . . . especially w/ an a4
oh, don't worry about tearing up the nittos so easily, they last so much longer than other dr's do, even if you do longer burnouts
and they actually handle a little rain which none of the others can claim
anyone have any luck w/ the mt drag radials?

BFG drs work in the rain just fine. I had both 555rs and BFG DRs. both in the 275/50/15 size. BFGS hooked a lot better. Im only running slicks now because they came with my new rims.
Slicks can hook on the street, but not very well. They suck on the highway. You'd want an ET street over an Et drag for street use...
