Default piston choice, 355

I am building up a 355 this winter. I am using LE2 H/C and need some reccomendations on pistons. I was thinking SRP or Mahle. I want to use Scat I-beams, 6in. I have no idea what pistons to pick in correspondance to the heads... Do I need to worry about C/H, dish volume, I cant find pistons anywhere that list cr for 54cc heads either.. Also, floating or bushed? I am sorry, thanks in adv once again

I am running 4.030 Wiseco Forged Pro Tru Pistons with 6.0" Scat H Beam rods
Pistons weighed in a I think 385 grams.

ok well if you have 54cc heads then such as the speed pro pistons l2256 they are 6.1 cc flat top's and they are going to be 12:1 compression i think you have to use something of the sort of like 18cc to get 10:1

-18cc piston would give him more like 9.4 to 9.5:1 on a 355......

Run a flat top -4 to -5cc valve relief piston with the LE2 setup. The chambers are closer to 58cc when they are done on the LE2 heads. I would run a bushed/floating I beam rod in 6" length. That means you need a 1.250" CH piston. I run Mahle pistons when there is a application for them, they do a much better job with fit and finish and the pins and rings are very nice for the money. The last set of them I had in had perfect pins, rings side clearance was perfect and everything went together smoothly. As for the JE/SRP side, well I can't say that my experiences were as good over there, or ever have been.

mahle pistons and rings. I know the rings are stock, not sure about the pistons. the hyper mahles are some of the best out there, and their rings are ******* AWSOME.

Check out the LT1 355 Kit.
Anything less would be uncivilized.

Again I wouldn't recomend press fit pins. Seriously look at the Mahles they require little work and are AWESOME pistons.
