Default After 14 months of waiting, Finally......

Well we almost had it started. I have to go throw the belt on and put the coolant level sensor on the radiator. But for whatever reason were not getting and fuel pressure registering on the gauge.
I know it's a long shot but anyone have any ideas?
When we turn the key, we hear the pump working in the tank. The tank is also pressurized, because we untwisted the cap and heard it let air out.
But no pressure on the gauge. We tried turning on and off the key like the directions from Aeromotime's FPR. but still no.
let me know if you guys have any bright idea's.

Jason

Now we are not getting spark to the starter. It will not turn over. We trying to figure out why at the moment.
Yesterday both headlights popped up now only pass side does. Probably due to the battery half dead but, The horn doesnt work, trunk release doesnt work. Were not sure what the hell is the problem.
Any ideas????

Were looking at the hays manual right now and it's looking like a relay.
That purple wire to the starter is not firing. So it's from there back. Were gonna go give it another shot.

Forgive my vague description lol: if the two wires to the starter are not at opposite angles (as far apart as possible) they will arc whenever you try to start the vehicle. spread them as FAR AS POSSIBLE. this happened to me in the past and was blowing my f*ing mind. lol. not sure that this is the case, but try it, might be something that simple.

we have went back and double checked some of the grounds. There might be another or so that we didnt but all seem good.
Head lights are doing some weird ****.
For some of you that dont know I did the Front End Conversion.
On the pass side headlight the black ground wire is acting as a hot when we flip the High Beams on. Something is wrong and is back feeding thru the wires causing "Weird ****" to happen.
It's gonna take some time to get it figured out.
Were gonna try and see if we can get ahold of a Toner.

hell yeah bad ground will eff up a car. I had a 92 bird with what i found out was a bad ground, before i found it the windshield wipers didn't work but when I turned them on the parking lights would blink and one headlight would pop up halfway and go back down. than when I hit the turn signals the wipers would work and the opposite headlight would pop up and down. It was crazy to watch. as soon as i tighened the ground it worked perfect. the ground was loose on the drivers side headlight relay I found it by accident no less. Later on I gave the car to my dad and he rebuilt the motor. I couldn't stop laughing when he called me for help when it did it to him.

What route did you end up going with on the heads? Did you go with a steam vent line or did you leave it as is?

I've talked with LME several times and they have had several dart conversions that have survived as daily drivers so Im leaving it as is.
Here's where im at so far. We got to the bottom of this Almost yesterday.
It's the Body Control Module & theft Deterrent Realy that is giving the problems. I have done alot of research on camaroz28.com since our search doesnt work here.
And alot of people have this problem after ripping out the dash like I did.
Anyways the Body control Module (BCM) is what controls the Power windows, hatch, interior lights, and stereo. For some reason Im not getting the Theft deterrent relay to trip and give power to the starter.
The relay get's power but it wont trip and send the power straight to the starter.
So we jumped it yesterday thinking it would then start. So I turned the key and holy sh*t *****........it was a beautiful sound for about 3 seconds and I shut her off.
We look under the hood and my 2 wires (+ & -) from the battery to the ground are melting together. SO we are now tackling these problems.
I think we had 2 wires touching at the starter which cause a short in the ground possibly.
We'll see today I guess
