Oh yea my LT1 has 4 bolt mains from the factory Thank you Jesus, so some did come with them.
Hell I am currently having 550-600 rwhp motor built at New Era Performance and they strongly advised me to stock with a aluminum short block (still deciding between 347, 383 or 402). It's more then strong enough and saves 100 lbs. of weight from the nose of the car. I quess this is why the iron short blocks are usually five hundred bucks cheaper.

Plus the fact Ive grown up wanting a Black LT1.
I didn't feel like spending all my money on a car, so I bought a bike too.
My point is, I did have the funds to afford a pretty damn nice car, but I bought what I wanted.
Sorry if you think thats bogus, don't know what else to tell you.

I really don't think you can save all that much on either car. When I decided to fix my car up. I did it all at once. Short block, AFR heads, Exhaust, full BMR suspension, Nitrous, T/B, Valve Train, Canton Oil Pan, Intake. Clutch with fly wheel. so I spent a lot

This could very well be the longest running LS1 vs. LT1 thread in history.
I think I will just trade my LT1 Z28 in on the new 500HP Shelby GT500 (C6 killer) so I can taunt all yall cause my **** will be the fastest and the newest on the road.
I think God is now engineering and building motors for the Big Blue Oval.

LSX engines are engineered 100% better. GM started with a clean slate when they made the LS. The LT is just a reworked SBC with reverse cooled heads and a crappy distributor. Everything from the head design down to the oil pan that adds structural integrity, to the coil on plug design, they're just better.
LT aren't worthless or anything, it's just LSX's are better.
